Journal Of Pediatric Nursing-A Must Read For Those Interested In Children And Medicine
One of the most difficult occupations is in the field of medicine, specifically, pediatric nursing. This challenging career can really put a person to the test. Working with sick children can be very rewarding and sometimes heartbreaking. The Journal of Pediatric Nursing provides helpful information to anyone looking into this challenging but rewarding field.
My sister is a nurse for Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She decided that she wanted to pursue this career after spending years in school to become a nurse. She knew that she wanted to work in a hospital but she was not sure in what capacity. Fortunately, a friend of hers introduced her to the Journal of Pediatric Nursing. This research-based document was all that my sister needed to set her feet in the right direction.
The Journal of Pediatric Nursing approaches this field with a family-centered philosophy. When you work with a child, you are also working with his family. The family-centered approach to medicine is what really drove my sister into this direction. She believes that the family is the core and a strong family makes a strong child.
She has spent many years at Children’s Hospital and she wouldn’t change a thing. I am glad that there are people like my sister who can work with seriously ill children without falling apart. I would be in pieces within minutes in this atmosphere. The challenges that these nurses face every day are overwhelming for most people. They work diligently to make the entire family as comfortable as possible.
In the center of the successful careers is the Journal of Pediatric Nursing. This valuable literature offers research that is original. This research is reviewed by other nurses in the field which is an added benefit. Nurses and doctors do not always take the same approach when it comes to their patients. The Journal of Pediatric Nursing takes the nurses’ perspectives when presenting information.
One of my sister’s favorite online sites belongs to the Journal of Pediatric Nursing. She browses the seemingly endless archives and visits the forum on a regular basis. This site offers the most up-to-date information in the field of nursing and many of the nurses swear that they work better after spending an hour or two visiting the site.
The Journal of Pediatric Nursing has inspired my sister to enter a very challenging field. She is happy that she can help so many families and we are all proud that there are dedicated professionals like her who are dedicated to the wellness of our children.
