Be 10 Pounds Lighter In Two Weeks
Do you need to lose 10 pounds? It’ s not so hard as you may think!
If your goal is to lose 10 pounds, you can easily do it in about two weeks. It all comes down to calories. No matter how you cut it, it’s too many calories that puts on the weight. If you consume 1200 calories a day in potato chips, chocolate or milk, you’d lose the same amount. How well nourished is the question. Doesn’t it makes sense to consume those 1200 calories in the most healthful foods?
If you deny yourself adequate protein, your body starts taking it off your muscle. Without adequate supplies of vitamins A, C, E and the mineral zinc, your skin becomes drier and your body is soon depleted of the vitamins. Your immune system is not as responsive, opening you to up to illness and infection. No carbohydrates? You’ll be easily fatigued. Inadequate supplies of the B vitamins causes loss of muscle tone, and more fatigue.
Junk foods are not known to be nutritious. Empty calories, a load of preservatives, and a ton of salt and or sugar. Too many of these make you cranky and moody, and the salt makes you retain water. Someone who’s dieting while feeling tired and cranky and maybe even ill, and gasps when they look in the mirror, is likely to quit the diet and not lose 10 pounds.
So, just like your mother told you, a balanced diet is best. If you want to lose 10 pounds, give this strategy a shot, and I’ll bet that you’ll be 10 pounds lighter in two weeks. Lose 10 pounds and look good. Health permitting, start with a juice fast of one to three days. Drink 100% juices to pack in the vitamins. Lots of vitamin C results in cell repair and strong cell walls plus antioxidants galore. It also helps flush your body of toxins in your blood.
After the juice fast, include lots of fruits and vegetables, whole grains, protein, and at least a glass of water with each meal, and another glass between meals. You’ve heard “at least 8 glasses of water!†Many people gasp at the thought, because they hardly drink water anyway. If you’re one of these people, start with three glasses, with meals. Work up to the eight glasses. If you dislike the taste of your water, buy bottled. If water is too bland, a little lemon juice gives it “personalityâ€. Water contributes to a feeling of fullness, which promotes your objective to lose 10 pounds.
Fish and chicken are good protein choices. Try game meats, as they’re very lean, high in protein and dense, which means a small portion fills you up. You needn’t torment yourself over a cookie or forbidden piece of cheese. Just hold the line on a daily basis at the number of calories you consume. Take a sensible approach, and you can lose 10 pounds, and keep it off.
