It seems like year after year more people are talking about that their life is full with daily stress, and they wish they had a stress free job. However, the reality is stress is inevitable, and never will totally go away. However, the key is to manage the stress in your life because if you don’t manage the stress, it will start affecting you mentally and physically.
A study was done a few months back, and stress was the #1 root cause of health aliments for men and women under 50. If you don’t want to fall prey stress, you have to adapt some stress management techniques into your daily lifestyle. For example you can learn relaxation and breathing techniques, which help in with relieving stress. However, today our main focus is using stress management exercise and aerobics that will help you relieve stress.
Stress Management Exercises
Breathing Exercises: These types of exercises are geared towards learning how to breathe and relax properly. However, most would say “why should I learn that”, I already know how to breathe. That’s true but most people only use a tiny fraction of their lungs to breath which provides a only a limited amount of oxygen. If you didn’t know already there’s a direct link between meditation and a healthy mind and body. So when you learn proper breathing techniques you mind and body will learn how to control your stress.
Yoga- By definition yoga is physical practice of stretching the body in various ways, and focusing one’s attention to become one with the universe. It uses body, breath and senses to reconnect the practitioner with the universe and move emotions and thoughts into stillness. Practicing yoga is proven to relieve stress because it brings about a positive physical and spiritual presence. Yoga will help the body and mind relax when stressful situation arise.
Aerobic Exercises: These type of exercises or workouts are known to help relieve stress in their lives. Many people who jog or walk a few miles every day believe their stress levels have gone down due to it. Plus, aerobic exercises will help your physical as well. However, just remember to warm up first before performing any aerobic exercises
If you just follow these stress management techniques you will definitely get rid of a lot of stress in your lives, and control and maintain the little stress you do have. Also you don’t have to do all three exercises, just start off with one and do it consistently.
