In your quest for having a lean and toned body, there are certain excuses that almost everybody makes that are hindering their progress. And it is that very excuses that will stop you from having the body of your dreams. But the problem is that most of these excuses are very hard to concur – very difficult to overcome. The good news is that I have solutions to that excuses – let’s have a look at them!
1. Vegetables are tasteless when I make them myself at home
Vegetables are a great way to fill up your plate and to help you slim down. But if you are having problems with getting the vegetables just right, chances are you are either overcooking or under seasoning the vegetables. When cooking them, cook until they are still tender and toss in a teaspoon or two of olive oil, fresh herbs and seasoning.
2. I can’t survive without something sweet every day
Allot of us have a sweet tooth and it can be very difficult to overcome. Try snacking on a handful of raisins, sweet fruit like watermelon, peaches or apples or a few blocks of dark chocolate instead.
3. I hate cardio
Cardio don’t have to be boring – if you listen to some upbeat music or watch your favorite TV show while exercising, it can be fun and you may even end up liking it. If you still hate cardio afterwards, try taking up a sport like tennis or running.
4. I don’t have time to pack my own healthy lunch
Packing your own lunch can save you a lot of calories and fat and lead to you being leaner. So stop up on some ingredients and store it in the office fridge to make your own lunch at work.
5. I will start with my healthy eating plan tomorrow
Procrastinating is a healthy body’s worst enemy. If you keep on putting healthy eating and exercising off, chances are you’ll never do it. So start your good intentions today and you will be more likely to stick with it.
If you where making some of those excuses you now have lots of animation to stop them in their tracks. Remember that you have the power to get the body of your dreams; all you have to do is try. Following a low calorie healthy eating plan and getting in regular exercise will ensure that you get that dream body.
If you want a strong and sexy core (the muscles of your abs, back and hip flexors) the supreme pilates machine will do just that. But if you want to practise Pilates without a machine, is the pilates band exercise also just as effective.
