We usually think that all organic or natural products are automatically considered safe and healthy to use. It may be true that health benefits could be claimed from these alternatives; however, we cannot still eliminate these products from negative side effects. Let us take beetroot juice as an example. Beetroot is recognized to be one of the many varieties of beets including red beet, table beet, and garden beet. The juice of this beetroot is usually drunk by many people since it is known to have many wonderful effects for the body. But the question is; are these effects all beneficial? Beetroot Juice Negative Side Effects
Just like any other food or item, negative side effects are always present to balance its benefits. One of the common cons of drinking beetroot juice is the occurrence of beeturia. This term is derived to describe the reddish discoloration that occurs to our urine once we take in beetroot juice. However, there is no serious complication associated with this side effect. Nevertheless, allergies are always present especially for first-time users of beetroot juice. Some of the most common allergic reaction to this food is rashes, hives, fever, chills, difficulty of breathing, throat irritation and as well as the stinging sensation. Individuals who have pre-existing conditions should always inquire their physicians about the plan of taking beetroot juice. This drink should be taken in cautiously especially for those who have kidney stones or other kidney disorders and gall bladder problems.
These are basically some of the positive and negative side effects of drinking beetroot juice. Having these things said, it is definitely a must for us to weigh first both sides of the option before we decide to use these alternatives, just like the beetroot juice.

Other sites advocates beet juice for gall bladder issues – my doctor is the one who told me to drink it & carrot juice. Was wondering if anyone had any further information as to why other sites promote the use and this site says “This drink should be taken in cautiously especially for those whom have kidney stones or other kidney disorders and gall bladder problems.”?

The only time I drink beetroot juice is when I buy the beets and boil them. I don’t add anything (such as sugar) to the juice. Is this home-made juice better than the bottled version? I have not experienced any negative side effects so far, such as rashes, trouble breathing, fever, etc.

One cup of raw beets contains phosphorous, magnesium, calcium, iron, and potassium as well as vitamin A, niacin, folic acid, and biotin. When these nutrients are captured in the juicing process, the body can quickly absorb them. RediBeets saves you the trouble of juicing beets by giving you a concentrated beet juice with only the fiber removed. The essential enzymes remain, along with the natural form of betaine, which aids in cleansing the liver and reducing homocysteine levels. More info @ http://www.redibeets.com
