If you are determined to increase your muscle mass as effectively as possible you are going to have to change your diet to include more protein. Protein is essential in muscle growth, without protein your muscles will not grow, its as simple as that. So, in order to increase the growth of your muscles you will need to include a large of amount of protein in your diet. A lot of natural foods contain a large amount of protein, so its a smart idea to include the following foods into your diet: milk, eggs, beef, chicken, fish, and other meats. However, in order to boost your protein intake, there are many high protein supplements on the market today which you can consume with your meals.

Whey protein powder is the leading protein supplement product. Of course, other protein powders may effect you just the same. You should include several servings of Whey protein powder with your meals, or after an intense workout. Since, Whey is simply a powder and does not have such a distinct taste, you can add it to most of your meals or drinks.

One thing you can do, is make a nice shake with a few spoon fulls of Whey along with other ingredients, like Bananas, and than drink it right after an intense workout. Its best to make the shake before you start working out so that you can instantly hit your muscles with the protein right after. If you do this after every work out you will see some satisfactory results within a short period of time. However, there are two different types of Whey protein, Whey protein isolate and Whey protein concentrate.

Whey protein isolate contains a higher quantity of protein, while concentrate contains around 20-15% less protein. So, in order to achieve a buff look, Whey protein powder should be included in your diet.
