Causes of Constant Tiredness

It is quite difficult for doctors to diagnose fatigue; this holds true especially if it is a case of chronic fatigue syndrome. Fatigue is deemed to be a sign or symptom of some other thing and not ultimately a condition itself. However, CFS or chronic fatigue syndrome is inflicting damage (both physically and emotionally) on so many people’s lives. CFS can lead a person into being unproductive and in some cases, into a deep state of depression.

This troubling condition does not just affect the person alone; CFS can also leave an effect on the entire family. It can injure your friendship as well, if after school or work you cannot seem to find the energy to meet and go out with your friends or colleagues.

It is normal for a person to get tired, especially after a long and hectic day, but with chronic fatigue syndrome the tiredness that you feel is a lot more serious and is not considered normal. The sense of tiredness and sleepiness you will have usually lasts longer and will eventually start to interfere with your day to day activities.

There are a lot of reasons for excessive tiredness. Most commonly, it is brought about by an underlying disorder; this could either be PMS, diabetes, serious infections, low or high blood pressure, low blood sugar levels and many more. However, many experts cannot seem to agree with regards to the true causes of constant tiredness. Some doctors believe that mercury poisoning, viral infections, high or low blood pressure and even drug abuse can lead to an onset of this syndrome.

If you are one of the many who suffers from excessive tiredness, then there are a number of things that you can try to do in order to fight this feeling of sleepiness and fatigue. One great way is for you to be physically active and get lots and lots of rest as well. You can also have yourself tested to check if you have any allergies, hypoglycemia or low thyroid function.
