Important causes of migraine headaches

headacheAre you also struggled by migraine headaches? If you don’t know what causes them, I’ll help you to find some answers. The major causes of migraines headaches are outlined below.

Sinusitis

Headaches are sometimes due to sinusitis but the pain disappears as soon as you get rid of the sinus. To prevent a crisis you should eliminate sinusitis using drugs or other procedures.

Eye Problems

Another cause of headaches and migraines can be the eyes. Our eyes become tired after we spend hours of work in front of a computer monitor or when you spend a lot of time reading. When there is not enough light, our eye muscles tense and we are beginning to feel our eyes heavy. Finally, a headache may be caused by an inflammation of the eye. It feels discomfort around the eyes or a resemblance to a migraine. Sometimes, for unknown reasons, we have migraines because of too intense light. If you are bothered by light or if you read for a long time, try and turn off the light for a while and keep your eyes closed in darkness or if you can’t turn off the light just put your hands on your eyes and keep them open in the darkness created.

Teeth Problems

Our teeth can cause us to experience headaches or migraines without knowing it! Some people grind them at night, they are so stressed that they do that. Usually, they wake up with headaches, without knowing the cause.

Blood Pressure

If you have never measured your blood pressure and suddenly you start to have migraines then you better go and visit your doctor. A headache is at least one problem that can be caused by hypertension. You need to keep it under control.

Hunger

Many people do not associate an empty stomach with a migraine because they are not feeling hungry. However, our bodies feel and begin to give an appropriate signal that indicates that the time to eat has come. These headaches are caused by hypoglycemia and can be easily prevented if we eat something every four hours. A group of migraines can be caused by a sudden deficiency of magnesium and vitamin C in our organism. If you avoid beef, nuts, fruits, then you could belong to this group of people who suffer every time when the magnesium in the organism is low.

Sleep Problems

If you do not sleep well or you sleep too much, due to sleeping pills or other pills that are inducing sleep, it is likely your head pain be related to an unnatural duration of the sleep. This problem can be corrected easily by changing your habits and respect your body needs when it comes to sleep and resting.

Some headaches should worry us more than others. When, for example, a migraine occurs suddenly, without happening ever, when it wakes you up at night, when it changes in frequency, its intensity or its type then certainly you should consult a specialist. A migraine can hide a brain tumor, even if there are tumors that do not cause pain, may indicate that you have an attack, a broken nerve or perhaps you have an infection.
