Color Contacts to Change Your Look

A popular fashion trend in today’s society is using colored contacts. These contact lenses can actually transform the way you look by changing the color of your eyes. Some people find the decision to purchase these lenses to be a bit intimidating.

Colored contacts without prescription can be a lot of fun to wear. However, the person seeking to wear these contacts should always ensure that an eye doctor verify that your eyes will be able to accommodate the lenses. The following information may assist you in choosing the appropriate contacts for your desires.

Opaque Contacts
These contacts may be suitable for the person that wants to change the appearance of their eyes totally. Those people that have dark colored eyes may even want to sport a lighter color eye. These types of contacts are especially intended for people with brown eyes. The user may also purchase disposable contacts that will be changed about every two weeks.

Visibility Tint Contacts
This type of tint will enable the user to view the lens clearly while removing and inserting. The tint on these lenses is light, normally being a light green or blue and does not radically change the color of the eye.

Enhancement Tint
The enhancement tint is solid and is darker that the visibility tint and thereby will change the color of your eye. Some people prefer the enhancement tint because of the vibrant improvement that occurs to the natural color of the eye. For example, if your eyes are blue the enhancement will make them become bluer.

Whether you choose to change your appearance, have a crazy color, cat eyes, or just something for a party, color contacts come in a variety of styles, types and colors that will fit your needs. If you do choose to wear them, then they should only be worn under the supervision of an optometrist.
