Hair loss has been a very common problem that people have needed to confront since time immemorial. Hair loss is usually caused due to aging, hormonal change, and if baldness is common in your family history. Over the years there have been numerous techniques and treatments that have been developed for hair replacement surgery. However, not many have been successful. But one of the more successful options that have gained popularity over the years is the hair transplantation treatment for hair replacement.

However it is highly recommended that you take the advice of a doctor before you decide to go in for such a treatment. It is essential that you discuss about the treatment and what all it involves, and you are aware of the various consequences. If you feel you understand and if your doctor gives you the green signal, you should be pleased to know that certified doctors have carried out this treatment over the years. Though it is decreasing, there is a social stigma associated with male pattern baldness.

Though such a surgery can enhance your hair growth and thus your appearance, it often doesn’t turn out as you expect it to. Hence such expectations should be discussed with your doctor before.

A key point to note is that this surgery uses your existing hair, and transplants those live follicles in the balding section. Hence for such a treatment to be successful you should have some hair growth n the sides or at the back of your head, so that grafts of hair follicles can be taken.

Also, other factors such as your hair texture, its waviness, its curliness etc also determine the result of hair transplants. Hence you must understand that there are certain limitations for such a treatment, and it doesn’t always produces the best results that match your high expectations.
