Obesity is a problem that affects more than 30% the American population. It is a staggering figure and for some the consequences of such obesity wrecks havoc on their physical and mental well being. There are many ways to reduce obesity but some people for one reason or another want the easy way out. They explore fad diets and even contemplate liposuction. While liposuction might be necessary for some people it is not a good option for most. It is highly recommended that you consult with your private doctor before taking any steps towards liposuction surgery. This is true even if you have visited a cosmetic surgeon who suggests you get this kind of fat removal surgery. A cosmetic surgeon will not have your best interest at heart but your private doctor who won’t benefit from such a surgery will.
Liposuction is considered extreme and should be avoided at all costs. There are proven and successful ways to remove fat from the body. But it will take time and effort and if you think about it, the only pressure to rush and lose as much fat as we can in the shortest time is pressure that we create. When I wanted to lose 80 pounds, I set out a long term goal. The goal was simple, lose 80 pounds in however long it took. I didn’t know how long it would take me until finding out how my body reacted to my diet and exercise plan. Initially I was able to lose fat quickly but then after a couple of months the entire process slowed down. This is natural because the body at some point puts up resistance and this is commonly known as a “plateau.” It is at these times that you must continue going forward without giving up, even if it takes a while to get over the plateau. Losing weight via diet and exercise is something that has been done for ages. It is safe and won’t cost you anything close to what laser liposuction costs, your biggest expense might be a gym membership if you don’t already have one.
Natural weight loss is also a much safer route to take. There are countless horror stories of people who have complications from liposuction even by the latest methods such as laser-lipo. Think positive and set a goal for yourself. I lost the 80 pounds in 3 years. Yes that’s quite some time but during the whole process I learned so much along the way. I also managed to turn life around and transformed naturally into my newer healthier body. I didn’t lose the fat over night or had excess skin that also had to be removed. I lost the weight naturally by diet and exercise and if I can do it, I am sure that anyone can. Losing weight irregardless of how much fat you want to remove is about life change. This is one of the best benefits of doing it naturally. It is a struggle and it will test your resolve but you can succeed and for most people who lose the fat naturally they generally keep the bulk of it off for the rest of their lives.
