One of the most common health problems faced today by many people is a type of mental illness called bipolar disorder. What is bipolar disorder and who are some of the famous people who are bipolar?

Bipolar disorder is defined as a mental health alteration and a psychiatric diagnosis that refers a category of mood disorders as characterized by the presence of one or more than one episodes of abnormally high level of energy, cognition and mood with or without the combination of one or more episodes of depression. This disorder is also known as manic-depressive disorder, manic depression or bipolar affective disorder.
