Glycolic Acid Peel as a Skin Treatment

There are many ways to improve our skin, but not all of them have been tested for such a long time as a Glycolic Peel. It is one of those treatments that can be used in many ways, with different concentrations of acid and con be used to help in various areas of your body.

If you are looking for a quick and intense treatment to eliminate deep scars and wrinkles, help with skin discolorations or remove acne scars that have been there as long as you can remember, this product can be used in a concentration as high as 50%, and after a few days of an intense recovery process, you can enjoy your fresh new smooth skin.

Another way to take advantage of this products’ amazing properties is to use it to prepare your skin before attempting a deeper peeling process as a TCA peel.

On the other hand, if you want to have a mild procedure and obtain soft and steady results, you can use a lotion or skin product that has glycolic acid in a very low amount, such as 10% or lower, and this kind of product can be applied on the part of your body that you may need, on a daily basis. So this way you can see your skin color and surface improve day by day without having to worry about secondary effects. All you have to do is avoid direct sun exposure on the treated area, for as long as you use the product.

Generally these procedures are performed during winter, when you don’t have to worry about missing a few sun hours, and at the same time, you can get the beautiful skin you want by the time the summer comes.

After undertaking any peeling treatment, and at the time of taking a sunbath, it is important to remember that direct sun exposure can give you spots on your skin and will accent your wrinkles, so it’s always a good idea to use sunblock.
