It’s probably because you can’t get rid of your old bad eating habits so I’m going to tell you some very good tips which you can implement in your weight loss plan. It’s not about changing your diet as a whole but rather it is about modifying a small part of your diet to gain a little bit of the diet effect. And I believe for those who have a really hard time skipping meals or completely changing your diet will lose a few pounds just by implementing these methods I’m about to tell you.
1. Use small plate, fork, and spoon. First thing you should do when on diet is cut down the amount of food you eat but it’s easier said than done. So why not just change everything to small to reduce the amount of food you eat.
2. I guess everyone knows this already but drink diet coke and low fat milk. There’re a ton of different types of diet coke and low fat milk in the market for you to choose from. You’re still drinking coke and milk but hey, whatever helps.
3. If you are a chicken lover, then try eating a grilled chicken rather than a fried one with a lot of sauce on it. Eating fried chicken will increase your cholesterol level which isn’t good for both your health and diet. Moreover, grilled chicken has a lot less calorie than fried chicken.
4. Coffee, drink Americano.
If you’re a caffeine addict or type of a person who has to drink a cup of coffee to stay awake, it is very hard not to drink one. But your weight loss plan might get just a little better even with drinking coffee if you make a switch to Americano. Calories in coffee are mainly in sugar and cream so coffee itself doesn’t contain much calories. Therefore, if you want to drink coffee, drink Americano to gain the effect of coffee and at the same time, not gaining the weight.
5. Drink water instead of soft drinks.
When you’re thirsty, drink water instead of soft drinks or carbonated drinks. Soft drinks are not only bad for the diet but also it is bad for your health. Drinking water several times a day will speed up your metabolism rate and help to get rid of constipation if you have one. So drinking enough water a day will help you lose weight and make you healthy as well.
You don’t need a special diet food or diet plan to lose weight. Just make up a doable weight loss plan and stick to it. And as I said above, you can lose weight by making little changes in your daily life. You won’t lose much weight overnight but you will see slow yet consistent progress and I’m sure you will be happy with it.
