Exercising is a great way in burning all the excess fats in our body in order to give us the best body figure we always desire. This may not give us an automatic result; however, if it is done regularly and properly, then we could expect to see some significant results or changes in no time. Nevertheless, a lot of us find exercising to be tiring and boring. Going to the gym and running for an hour on tread mills can drain all the energy out of body, which can pretty much discourage us in doing it again and again. However, exercising can also be fun, exciting and enjoyable. We don’t actually need to do routines and boring training methods in order for us to burn some calories. In fact, playing with some of our toys along with our friends could also help us in losing weight. Some of these activities can even burn more calories than any other exercise routine or workout. One perfect example of this is through rollerblading. How many calories do you burn rollerblading?
Many of us think that using roller blades is just for pure fun. This is actually true; however, fun is not the only advantage or benefit that rollerblading can give us. Whenever we do roller blades, we usually feel very exhausted and tired at the end of a long activity. This is simply due to the calories or fats that were burned while playing with our blades. This makes us all wonder, how many calories do rollerblading consume?
Although it is said that rollerblading can actually burn a lot of calories, the exact amount is actually quite impossible to know. This is because there are a lot of factors that could affect the rate of burning in our body. Some of these factors include our weight, age, speed in rollerblading, location of the activity and as well as the length or duration of our activity. As we all know, rollerblading in an uneven surface is more challenging that doing it on a flat or smooth area. This is the reason why the former burns more calories since extra effort is needed by the body in order to pass through to the uneven surfacing. Our speed can also affect the rate of calories burned since the faster we go on blades, the faster will our calories burn. The duration or time of rollerblading is also a factor since the longer we do the activity, the more calories will obviously be burned.
Nevertheless, if we were to take an average sized man with a weight of approximately 150 lbs as a basis, then we can conclude that about 800 calories (more or less) will be burned as going on a speed of about 10 mph in an hour. This is equal to the number of calories we will have in eating three snickers bar. Basing on these facts alone, we can already tell that rollerblading is indeed a great way to burn calories fast. This activity can even burn 8 times more than what walking can do in an hour. Having this said, we can already prove that exercising could be both beneficial and fun at the same time.
