A large part of living a healthy lifestyle is based on what we eat every day. Our diet reflects on how much we take our health seriously. Eating foods that contain high cholesterol, high sodium and high sugar can definitely open a lot of unhealthy conditions in our lives. This is the reason why modifying our diet for the better is a great start in living healthy. And this could be done by increasing our glow foods most particularly our consumption of fruits and vegetables. However, many people believe that too much of anything is bad for us. In this case, is eating too much fruits considered harmful for our body? This makes us question ourselves; how much fruit should I eat a day?
According to some health and diet experts, fruits should be a regular part of our daily menu. In fact, fruits must be eaten at least 2 to 4 servings in a day, which is also equivalent to 5 to 9 pieces. But what makes fruit so important than any other type of meal? Fruits are considered an important component of our daily meal since it contains no cholesterol at all. Aside from this, fruits are plant based products, which means it does not contain animal fats and byproducts like our milk, meat and eggs. In addition to these, fruits also help stimulates the memory. It is also a very affordable way in keeping our nutrition in a good condition. It can miraculously heal wounds and other injuries in the body and it also contains fibers that can help in cleansing our body and improve our bowel movement. Overall, fruits do make us feel a lot better.
Aside from these benefits, we can also get hydration from eating fruits daily. In fact, most fruits do contain 80% water, which is indeed great for our body. However, many do believe that eating too much fruits can also be bad for health. This is actually quite true since fruits also contain some sugars which can also produce no good when eaten in bulk. However, natural sugar from fruits is way better than eating sweet cakes, pastries and desserts. It is only important for us to do things in approximation and moderation. Relying only of fruits can also make us miss all the helpful and great benefits that other meals can offer. So this only shows that having balanced diet or meal is still the best way for us to prevent illness and diseases from invading our systems.
So in case we are planning to live healthy, then we are all advised to include fruits along with other meals in our daily diet. This way we can exchange all of our usual sweet desserts with these marvelous fruits. We can eat them fresh or we can even make them into a salad in order to provide a twist and appeal to our taste.
