How to control the mood swings of Perimenopause

Irritability followed by tears and after that by feelings of contentment – sound like an emotional disaster, doesn`t it? It is caused by perimenopause, which is the 2-15 year span which leads up to the menopause, and during that time there are a lot great emotional distress for some women. One of these emotional problems is the mood swings. They can lead to feelings of hurt and anger, and can create a lot of difficulties to your personal and professional relationship, which can make leave some women with the feeling of being guilt, and therefore regret.

Why there is mood swings? They are usually caused by hormonal imbalances, fatigue and finally, the most dangerous one, stressful life.

Also its physical symptoms such as insomnia or hot flashes, can lead to restless nights, and all this contribute to fatigue, and all of these changes can lead even the most confident women feeling tired and hopeless. But if you take a look at the emotional side of the problem, then you will see that these are the years ina a woman`s life, when she recognize or just re-evaluate what she wants from the life. Her kids are now leaving home, she doesn`t know whether she will stay at her work, also losing her parents can affect her life.

However there is a way out of that problem. Yes, there is a help available. There are some natural remedies which can help with mild to calm the bouts of depression. Also if you take good quality B-Vitamin then you can aid in the relief of stress and anxiety. There are some non-traditional treatments too. That includes acupuncture, as it increases the amount of serotonin in your body and therefore creates a feeling of well being and optimism about the life. Light exercises, like pilates and or yoga can be helpful too. There are even health tips sites which say that every type of daily meditation rituals helps to take back the control of your emotions.
