How to Naturally Straighten Hair?

One of the best things about hair is that we can actually do a lot of stuff with it, which can also improve the way we look. In other words, we can color it, perm it, trim it, shape it, add accessories to it and straighten it. However, doing most of these hair procedures can be quite expensive since they are mostly done in parlors by hair experts. Nevertheless, there are actually some ways that we could do at home which can also give us a more-than-satisfying result. Here are some of the things that can help us learn how to naturally straighten hair.

This hair straightening procedure is actually moderately easy. All we need to do is to have all the required and necessary materials for this process and execute the steps as it was instructed. For us to begin, we will need some items such as the following; straightening shampoo, wide tooth comb, straightening balm, a round brush, hair clips, hair dryer or blow dryer, straightening iron and silicone based hair shine. Once the items are already prepared, we can now start washing our hair with the straightening shampoo as well as the conditioner. After rinsing, we can start combing the hair while it’s still wet with the use of our wide set tooth comb. Once we’re through, we can now apply straightening balm and place the bulk of the balm at the tips and some on the roots. We can then comb our hair once again along with the balm.

As soon as we are through, we can now divide the hair into layered sections. This layering will also depend on the length of hair we have. So the longer hair we have, the more layers we will need to make. After doing this, we can leave the bottom layer first and twist the other layers on top of the head using clips. We can then start blow drying the bottom layer with the use of our round comb or brush from the roots to the tips. We can repeat these steps to all the layers we have made until every inch of hair is dry. Once done we can then go back with the first or bottom layer in order to start the ironing from the roots towards the tip of the hair. The hair must be pressed firmly in a fluid motion in order to give the hair a straight and soft look. This should then be done in all the layers of the hair until the hair becomes straight.

As soon as we are done ironing all the layers of hair, we can now use a small amount of silicone based shine product or even a gel spray in order to give the hair a smooth and sleek look. These are the steps on how to naturally straighten hair, without the need of spending too much money. As we can see, we did not use any hash chemicals on our hair which can potentially damage it. This is what makes natural straightening more advisable than chemical rebonding of hair.
