Inversion Table: The Alternative To A Pain-Free Life

Inversion therapy has been known for a very long time to be beneficial to the body in the area of alleviation of joint pains associated in the lower back, neck and hips area. It is also known to improve blood circulation. The Inversion table is one of most known inversion equipment today simply because it offers comfort and sense of security when you are hanging upside down in the air. Unlike free hanging equipment like the inversion boots, the table gives you back support and a framework to hold on to when you see the need to do so. Securing yourself to the table is easy. There are strap mechanisms and today, the most common way of securing yourself is through padded bars.

The experience of hanging upside down is described by many people as pleasurable especially if you have pains in your body that you have been experiencing for a very long time. The effect of gravity to the body the other way around is soothing as it separates the pressure points in the joints. It separates the connections and allows the easing of the pain. This equals to the medication-free pain alleviation. For some this is a step forward in their pain treatment. Inversion tables also have this ability to correct bad posture through repeated use. In line with this advantage it can also improve associated pain with bad posture.

Studies have claimed that therapy through inversion can prevent back pain surgeries. A study is also published that says 75%of all surgeries made for back pain can be prevented through inversion. With the claims duly supported by research the inversion table is now more than just a superficial qualm for pain relief. It is a tool for continuous improvement of joint related pains, a welcomed re-discovery of an ancient way to answer chronic pain in the body.
