Natural Teeth Whitening Tips

If you are one of those people who doesn’t go for any kind of prescribed medicine and opts for herbal and natural treatments, you are not alone. There are just too many side effects and dangers in the chemicals people intake to get their teeth white. Like with most ailments, something in nature has properties that would help make your teeth retain their whiteness. Below are a few natural teeth whitening tips.

Eat an Apple after your meal

It has been always known that eating apples is as good as brushing your teeth after a meal. Though brushing is still very important, eating an apple after every meal can help in your quest to get whiter teeth. Its acidic nature along with its rough flesh makes them ideal to remove debris.

Brush with ashes

Housewives usually turn to ashes to remove stubborn stains on their pots. This base along with its roughness acts as an abrasive and stain remover at the same time.

Drink water after eating

The best way to make sure your teeth stay white is always to prevent stains. An easy way to do this is to drink a glass of water after having a cup of coffee or any other beverage. Water will help prevent stains.

Gargle a lemon juice mixture

Using a mixture of lemon juice, salt and warm water as a mouthwash after brushing your teeth gets rid of  stuff your brush might have overlooked. You may also use a lemon juice with baking soda mixture if you like.

Rub with strawberries

Rub some ripe strawberries over your teeth. Strawberries have great whitening ability but make sure you brush afterwards or your stains may worsen.

The mentioned tips are basically part of living healthy and don’t have any side effects. Using natural teeth whitening is the safe way to keep your teeth white without incurring any expenses.
