Tpes of Permanent Make Up

As the name implies, when you have permanent make up, you always look like you have make up on although not even a smudge of lipstick, blush and eyeliner has been applied on your lips, cheeks and eyebrows, respectively. This is possible because of the art of tattooing being applied to your face albeit not in the same manner as Kat Von D.

So, how does it work? The permanent cosmetics technician uses a hollow needle to inject natural pigments into the holes in your skin directly to its dermal layer. You will feel a slight sting upon the release of the pigments, just as in the case of a tattoo on other parts of your body. Your pain tolerance will determine how long each tattooing session lasts although an hour or two is sufficient for most cases.

Once the tattoo is in place, your beautiful journey in permanent make up has begun. Well, of course, it cannot be helped when side effects immediately after the tattoo session is experienced. These can include swelling in and around the tattoo area, darker colors than your final choice and maybe even a little allergic reaction. Don’t worry as, under the hands of an experienced technician, these are normal occurrences and will soon go away.

For example, the swelling will be gone by a week while it may take up to two weeks before the desired colors shine through. Then good news is that you can immediately go back to work or to your home after the procedure. Again, it is as if you have tattoos made on your body.

You can choose from many types of permanent make up including permanent eyeliner and eyelash lines, permanent lip lines and even permanent blush-on. But you have to be careful especially when it comes to ultraviolet rays so do try to stay out of the sun. Other than these beauty tips precaution, you can treat your permanent cosmetics as naturally as possible – put on makeup on top and wash it in a normal manner. And of course, always go for touch-ups for maintenance purposes.
