Tea tree oil is an essential oil that is harvested from an Australian native plant called Melaleuca alternifolia. This oil has been used for ages now as an antiseptic and antifungal agent. Nowadays, tea tree oil is available in many health stores and drug stores and is known to be effective in combating dandruff. In addition to these, tea tree oil has also been proven to cause no side effects once used in hair.
Another effective remedy in fighting dandruff is none other than the use of apple cider vinegar. This can be used by mixing ¼ cup of apple cider with ¼ cup of water. Once they are mixed well, they can be poured inside a spray bottle wherein we could spray the mixture directly into our scalp. However, we must be careful not to include the eyes and the ears since this can cause irritation once it comes in contact with these areas. This vitamin is sold in supplement form and is naturally found in many foods. These foods include egg yolks, soy, barley, royal jelly and the like. This type of vitamin B is also naturally produced inside the intestines by some bacteria. With this type of vitamin in our body or system, we can eventually lessen the chances of having dandruffs.
