Having to deal with bacne is never fun, but for many it’s simply a fact of life. The good news is that clearing it up really isn’t that tough to do, but it does take some consistency on your part. In this post I want to share some tips that will help you get rid of bacne. It won’t happen overnight, but if you stick with it you should see some awesome results.
The first step is to take a look at what you’re washing yourself with. Many normal soaps and body washes can clog your pores and make your bacne even worse. Fortunately, there are a lot of acne body wash choices out there, and most of them work really well. They are medicated with the same ingredients that you’re probably already using in your face wash, so if you’re getting good results from a face wash make sure that your body wash has the same active ingredients. Swapping out whatever you’re currently using to wash yourself for a medicated body wash is very easy, so head to your local drug store and pick one up!
Another thing that you can do to help the process along is to spend as little time with clothing on as you possibly can. Shirts like to trap moisture and sweat in them which prevents your skin from breathing properly. Sleeping without clothes on is the easiest way to get get started, but you can simply go without a shirt whenever it’s appropriate.
Keeping your sheets clean is also extremely helpful. While you sleep your sheets act like a sponge collecting the oils in your body and spreading them all over the place. It’s gross to think of it that way, but that’s how it works! Get a couple extra sets of sheets so that you’re not constantly having to do laundry. Also, a hypoallergenic or organic laundry detergent can help as well.
Even the best acne treatment alone won’t completely clear up your bacne. Use the steps above to treat it from different angles to makes sure it goes away and stays away.
