There is now a number of new liposuction procedures that have been introduced to the market. These new techniques are meant to improve on the weakness of the current liposuction process. In this article, we will do a comparison between one of these new techniques, zerona liposuction with the traditional liposuction procedure to see the differences in terms of recovery period.
The most obvious difference is the issue of surgical vs non surgical approach. The traditional liposuction process needs the patient to be on the operation table just like any other types of surgeries. While this method in general will get you the results, the downside is in the recovery period. You need time to heal the surgery wound and during this time, the experience is not going to be pleasant. You will going to experience discomfort and even some minor pain. Some would even need to wear a special suit to keep your body in shape until after two to three weeks.
Zerona laser liposuction on the other hand will not need any surgeries at all. Patients need only to go through a machine for a period of forty minutes. During these period, laser treatments will be implement that will help melt the fats from your skin. After which, the same machine will suck the melted fats through your skins. All these are done using non invasive approaches meaning there is no a single physical wound at all in your body. Hence, there is no recovery period and no discomfort to endure.
In summary, there are some obvious differences between the traditional versus zerona liposuction. Both have their own pros and cons, and it is not obvious at this stage that the new method is the better choice. While it corrects some of the weakness of the predominant liposuction procedure, zerona also brings with it new dangers such as the side effects of laser radiation and whether the method really works. Given a longer time, it should be clearer on whether zerona is truly superior to what the current liposuction can offer.
