Understanding The Candida Spit Test

Lab testing procedures are capable of providing doctors with a measured level of the amount of a specific antibody that is present. However, these lab results take time for the lab personnel to get the test’s results and evaluate them. Some women will prefer to at least get an earlier indication of what these results might be. In anticipation of discovering what their lab results might indicate, they choose to take the Candida spit test for a quicker indication.

This particular test can be completed in the privacy of their own home. The patient simply needs to fill a glass with water before she goes to sleep. She then needs to place the glass near her bed, or close by in the bathroom. When she wakes the next morning, the female patient simply needs to spit into the glass of standing water. She will be able to observe a quantitative measure regarding the likelihood of whether or not she has a yeast infection.

When looking at the test, if a woman sees cloudiness or strings in the water, there is a very good likelihood that the yeast present in her body naturally have now undergone an unnatural phase of growth and multiplication. If specks are visible in the clear water, the woman should spend some time considering how this unwanted growth may have been triggered. Usually, this growth occurs when a woman is under stress, or when she is not eating a healthy diet.

There are antifungal medications which can stop the proliferation of these uncontrolled microbes. There is also a way in which the effectiveness of the drug can be evaluated. This evaluation will typically involve the Candida blood test. A wise physician will study the results of the blood test to determine which medications would be most beneficial to the patient. One can also go for candida albicans test.
