Water is the Quickest Way to Lose Weight

If you are one of the millions of people searching for a way to lose weight fast and safe, you are in for a treat.  Although there are more “miracle” weight loss products on the market that can easily be counted, you do not need them.  In fact, you will find that most are either unsafe or ineffective.  The few that do work, do not change anything about what you were doing to get overweight to begin with.  That means that after you are done taking the pill or meal replacement concoction, you will go right back to gaining weight again.

The good news is that there is a product that can really put your weight loss into overdrive.  That product is water.  Drinking lots and lots of water is by far the easiest way to be an efficient, fat burning machine.  There are a few reasons for this.

First of all, the human body is 55% – 60% water.  Fat, on the other hand, is only 10% water.  Water is used to deliver nutrients and oxygen to the parts of your body that need it most. It is also used to help with digestion.  This means the more extra body fat you have, the lower your body water percentage is.  Your body is no longer as efficient at processing food.  Less of the food is utilized as fuel and nutrients and more is stored as fat.

Water also plays a huge part in liver function.  The liver is responsible for over 500 different tasks, one of which is the processing of fats. A healthy, efficient liver will help you to burn fat efficiently.  An unhealthy liver can lead to an unhealthy body, and in extreme cases, even death.

Since blood is almost 70% water, keeping hydrated will keep your blood thin and flowing smoothly.  If your blood is flowing smoothly, it has an easier time navigating your circulatory system, and your heart can work more efficiently.  That keeps you full of energy and keeps your metabolism running at its optimum level.

There are a host of other reasons why water is important for weight loss, as well as integral for all around health.  Do not take it lightly.  Water, when combined with proper diet and exercise is still, and will always be the quickest way to lose weight safely and keep it off.
