Doing physical exercise is nowadays very common not just among men or the adults, but as well as in women and children. One of the most popular activities that we have these days is none other than kickboxing. However, a lot of us are still wondering; what is kickboxing?

In other words, this routine is similar to dancing however, instead of using the basic steps of dance, we are substituting it with the kickboxing moves such as forward kicks, shadow-box, jump ropes, punches and even the fancy foot works most us witness boxers do inside the ring. Because of these cool moves, many us are instantly attracted to this kind of training.

What are the effects of kickboxing in our body and health? Just like what is mentioned above, kickboxing is a great workout routine. It can also replace our old and boring days on the tread mill, which can even give us better results at the end. Kickboxing also helps develop anaerobic and aerobic fitness. In other words, this improves our power as well as our stamina. In addition to these, kickboxing likewise enhances our agility, balance and as well as coordination. Other classes of kickboxing even improve our muscle strength.

What is the exhaustion factor of kickboxing? Kickboxing is indeed very exhausting. This however, conditions the body best of most athletes all over the world. Even after just a single session of this exhilarating activity, we can already say that every inch of our body is absolutely worked out. Coordination is also very necessary in this type of exercise since it requires a lot of arm punches combined with fancy foot works.

Is kickboxing popular among all people? Men or women, young or old, a lot of people are already engaging in this type of activity. We don’t have to be athletes or boxers in real life just to enjoy the benefits of kickboxing. All we have to do is to follow the instructions of the instructor and we can already guarantee ourselves a total workout!

What is the proper attire in doing kickboxing? Just like and rugged activities or gym workouts, wearing of running or training shoes is a must. Most kick boxers wear simple gym clothes like tank tops combined with shorts or aerobic suits. Wearing of boxing gloves or hand protectors or supporters is also beneficial.
