Organic cocoa powders have become very popular nowadays. You can eat them in the form of fruit, cacao nibs and also have them as a powder. Eating cocoa powder organic grown is believed to contain all essential nutrients for a healthier body. It is also full of antioxidants which helps fight against cancer cells. Most of the healthy chocolates nowadays contain cocoa powder which is best for you.
There are lots of things which a coca powder can do. First, it contains flavonoids and helps protect you against cancer. It also has anti-aging and anti-inflammatory properties. In addition t o this, this prevents you from having any cardiovascular diseases because of the component magnesium. It contains high levels of magnesium thus reducing cardiovascular or heart problems. Studies show that 80% of Americans are deficient of magnesium and this would lead to hypertension, joint problems, and diabetes mellitus. The number one source of magnesium to date is the cacao beans. Magnesium also helps in building strong bones and balances your brain chemistry. You would surely not feel any guilt if you get to buy one of these.
Before buying one, make sure to check on the label and check the Oxygen Radical Absorption Capacity (ORAC). The higher the ORAC is, the higher the antioxidants found in the product. But do not just rely on the products which are said to be organic.  Cocoa powder is an ingredient in many healthy vegan snacks including bars and natural cookies. You should also take some considerations like how they are processed and how high the ORAC score is. If it is processed with too much heat, flavonoid levels will decrease and it will not serve the purpose of maintaining your blood pressure and fighting against cancer cells.
